In a press release issued by the Gujarat management, it was confirmed that the Australian superstar Beth Mooney will lead the team in the WPL 2024 season. Assisting Mooney in her leadership duties will be India’s Sneh Rana, who has been appointed as the vice-captain of the Gujarat Giants. Notably, Mooney was named Gujarat captain for the inaugural season as well but suffered an injury in the first game and could not take further part in the competition. Sneh had led the side in her absence.
