In the second match of the Ireland Women vs Scotland Women series in Spain 2023, Scotland Women emerged victorious with a strong performance, securing an eight-wicket win over Ireland Women at the Desert Springs Cricket Ground.

Amy Hunter was the standout performer for Ireland, contributing 68 runs from 54 balls, including 10 boundaries. For Scotland, the bowlers displayed great teamwork, with Priyanaz Chatterji and Hannah Rainey claiming two wickets each.

The top-order partnership between Kathryn Bryce (48 runs off 52 balls) and Sarah Bryce (57 runs off 44 balls) paved the way for Scotland’s comfortable victory. Kathryn Bryce anchored the innings with five boundaries, while Sarah Bryce contributed with six fours and a six.

With this victory, Scotland Women leveled the series, making it one win for each side.
