After recording a historic win in the three-match T20I series, Sri Lanka Women will take on England Women in a three-game ODI leg, starting from Saturday, September 9.

England, currently holding the second position in the ODI team rankings, aim to capitalize on their chance against Sri Lanka, who hold the eighth spot.

Nat Sciver-Brunt, the world’s top-ranked batter, strengthens England’s lineup. However, No. 1 ODI bowler Sophie Ecclestone will be absent due to a shoulder dislocation sustained during a warm-up match in The Hundred 2023.

Meanwhile, Sri Lankan skipper and star opener Chamari Athapaththu will look to maintain her exceptional batting form in the upcoming matches.
