Australia’s star all-rounder Ellyse Perry ended her century drought in international cricket with a superb double hundred during the one-off Women’s Ashes Test at the North Sydney Oval.
In the first ever day/night Test in Women’s cricket, Perry smashed an unbeaten 213 to power her side to a huge 168-run first-innings lead.
Perry’s 213 not-out is the highest individual innings in Women’s Ashes Tests. It is also the highest individual score by any player for Australia ahead of Karen Rolton‘s 209 not-out against England in 2001.
The Aussie star was appreciated by her teammates and the English players as she moved out of the ground after the declaration.
