New Zealand are gearing up for their first ODI series since December last year when they emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Bangladesh. The upcoming series against Sri Lanka not only marks their return to ODI action but also their first international appearance since the Women’s T20 World Cup held in February.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka are heading into their second home series within the past month and a half. They recently secured a 1-0 victory in a three-match ODI series and a 2-1 triumph in a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in May 2023.
The much-anticipated ODI series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka is scheduled to take place from June 27 to July 3, with all matches set to be held at the Galle International Stadium.
Following the completion of the ODI series, the two teams will shift their focus to the three-match T20I series, which is slated to be held from July 8 to 12 at the P Sara Oval in Colombo.
All six games are scheduled to commence at 10 am local time, translating to 4:30 am GMT or 10 am IST, accommodating cricket enthusiasts across different time zones.
