Smriti Mandhana tops ODI rankings after stellar Tri-Series show
Mandhana has been one of the most consistent performers for the Indian side over the years. She achieved this remarkable feat by surpassing South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt in the rankings, who has been going through a rough patch in recent times. Mandhana now holds the top spot with 727 rating points, closely followed by England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt and Wolvaardt, both tied at 719 points.
Mandhana’s rise back to the top has been backed by her phenomenal performance in the recent Sri Lanka Women’s Tri-Nation Series 2025, where she amassed 264 runs in 5 innings at an impressive average of 52.80. Her run tally included a brilliant century in the finals and a half-century, both of which played a key role in guiding India to a title-winning campaign.
