Perry’s recovery from injury
Perry sustained an injury while fielding on the first day of the Pink Ball Test against England. She awkwardly fell on her left hip, forcing her to leave the field. Despite the discomfort, the star all-rounder later came out to bat but struggled. This led to speculation that she might be ruled out of WPL 2025. When recently quizzed about her availability for the tournament, Perry stated that she would receive more updates on her injury in the coming days. However, she reassured fans that she did not believe her hip issue was serious and remained hopeful of making a full recovery.
Perry’s stellar performance in WPL 2024
Perry was instrumental in RCB’s triumph in WPL 2024. She emerged as the Orange Cap winner, scoring the most runs in the tournament. Across nine matches, she amassed 347 runs at an impressive average of 69.40 and a strike rate of 125.72, including two half-centuries. Her stellar performance played a crucial role in RCB’s title-winning campaign.
