Path to the Semifinals
India U-19 Women dominated Super Six Group 1, finishing at the top of the table with a perfect record. They won all four of their matches, showcasing a strong all-round performance. Their final group-stage game saw them crush Scotland U-19 Women by a staggering 150 runs, further underlining their championship credentials.
Australia U-19 Women secured the second semifinal spot from Group 1, winning three out of four matches. Their only setback came in their last group-stage fixture, where they suffered a narrow 12-run defeat to Sri Lanka U-19 Women. Despite this loss, their consistent performances throughout the tournament earned them a place in the knockout rounds.
South Africa U-19 Women emerged as the top team in Super Six Group 2, winning three out of four matches. Their final group-stage game, set against the United States of America U-19 Women, was unfortunately abandoned due to rain. However, their earlier victories ensured a direct path to the semifinals.
England U-19 Women grabbed the final semifinal spot, finishing second in Super Six Group 2 with two wins in four matches. They secured their place in the knockouts with an impressive six-wicket victory over New Zealand U-19 Women in their last group-stage encounter. With the top four teams now set for the semifinals, cricket fans around the world are eagerly anticipating intense battles as these young talents compete for a place in the final showdown on February 2.
