Northern Superchargers stormed into The Hundred Women final after dismantling defending champions London Spirit, thanks to a sensational century from 18-year-old Davina Perrin. The teenager’s breathtaking innings at Kennington Oval on Saturday not only rewrote the record books but also set the stage for one of the most dominant Eliminator victories in tournament history.

Davina Perrin’s blazing ton shatters records

Perrin produced an unforgettable 101 not out off just 43 balls, an innings laced with 15 fours and five sixes. It was the second-fastest century ever recorded in The Hundred and the quickest by a woman in the competition. Her knock powered Superchargers to a towering 214-5, the highest team total in the women’s competition to date.

From the outset, Perrin took the attack to Spirit’s bowlers, stitching together a vital stand with Davidson Richards before Phoebe Litchfield (35 off 19) and Nicola Carey (31 not out off 12) added finishing fireworks. By the time the innings closed, London Spirit’s title defense looked all but over.

London Spirit struggle in steep chase

Chasing 215, London Spirit crumbled early, losing Grace Harris and Kira Chathli inside the opening sets. Despite some middle-order resistance, including Charli Knott’s rapid 40 (16) and Georgia Redmayne’s fighting half-century, Spirit never found the momentum needed. They closed on 176/8, falling 31 runs short.

Brief Scores: Northern Superchargers 214-5 in 100 balls (Davina Perrin 101, Phoebe Litchfield 35; Sarah Glenn 1/33) beat London Spirit 172-9 in 100 balls (Georgia Redmayne 50 not out, Charlie Knott 40; Grace Ballinger 3/22, Annabel Sutherland 3/40) by 42 runs.
