In a significant step forward for women’s cricket, the USA Women’s cricket team is all set to embark on a historic bilateral tour of the Netherlands in June 2025. This marks the first-ever T20 International series between the two nations, and expectations are high for a competitive five-match showdown.
Aditiba Chudasama to continue as team’s leader
The announcement of the squad has ignited excitement among fans and analysts alike, as this series is expected to serve as a vital preparation ground for both sides ahead of major ICC qualifying tournaments. The USA Cricket Board unveiled a 14-member squad, with experienced all-rounder Aditiba Chudasama continuing her captaincy role. She will be supported by vice-captain Chetna Reddy Pagydyala.
Scheduled from June 7 to June 13, the matches will take place at two of the Netherlands’ top cricket venues—VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen and Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd in Utrecht. This series also marks a return to regular international fixtures for the USA Women’s side, who have been steadily building momentum through domestic competitions and training camps.

A balanced squad with fresh faces and familiar names
The selected squad blends emerging talent with key performers who have already shown promise on the international stage. Young pacers like Suhani Thadani and spin talents such as Geetika Kodali and Lekha Shetty bring variety to the bowling department. In the batting line-up, the likes of Gargi Bhogle, Maahi Madhavan, and Disha Dhingra are expected to anchor the innings, while Jessica Willathgamuwa and Mitali Patwardhan offer flexibility in the middle order.
Wicketkeeper-batter Pooja Ganesh also returns to the setup, providing depth in the lower order and behind the stumps, with Ritu Singh and Saanvi Immadi rounding out the squad.
