Nicola Carey takes a stunning catch
The 11th over of the Adelaide Strikers’ innings provided a moment of magic when Hobart Hurricanes’ right-arm leg-spinner Amy Smith bowled to Strikers’ opener, Mack, who struck the ball towards the offside. However, her shot would meet the quick reflexes of Carey, stationed at point. In an astonishing display of fielding, Carey leaped to her left and snatched the ball out of the air, completing a lightning-fast catch. The crowd erupted as the Strikers lost their first wicket, with Mack being dismissed for 14.
