Australia and New Zealand will face off in a three-match T20I series, starting Thursday, September 19. The series is part of Australia and New Zealand’s preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in October.
Australia, fresh from a successful white-ball series against Bangladesh, will be aiming to maintain their momentum and build confidence ahead of the World Cup. As six-time T20 World Cup champions, they are considered strong favourites for the competition.
New Zealand, on the other hand, are coming off a disappointing white-ball tour to England where they lost all five T20Is. The White Ferns will be hoping to bounce back with a strong performance against the defending champions and enter the World Cup with a positive mindset.
