The 2024 Capricorn Eagles Tri-Series is set to provide an exciting platform for women cricket, featuring teams from Namibia, Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Sune Wittmann, Esha Oza and Chiyedza Dhururu will captain the Namibian, UAE and the Zimbabwean women sides, respectively.
The Tri-Series is scheduled to be played from September 6 to September 13, and all ten matches will take place at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek, Namibia.
The top teams in the points table after the round robin matches will qualify for the final.
Cricket Namibia, in a press released on Wednesday, expressed happiness in hosting such a prestigious event on their home soil.
“The Capricorn Eagles are ready to take on the challenge, and we are excited to see how they perform against Zimbabwe and the UAE,” the statement read.
