Jess Jonassen magnificent delivery
The Warriors’ chase began inauspiciously as veteran bowler Jonassen made an early breakthrough, dismissing opener Natasha McLean for a duck in the very first over. Jonassen’s delivery had just the right amount of flight and variation, causing McLean to went for a lofted shot. The ball sneaked between bat and pad, rattling the stumps and leaving McLean out without scoring. This early setback put the Warriors on the back foot, setting the stage for a challenging run chase.
