Lauren Filer removes Meg Lanning with a peach of a delivery
While London Spirit managed to successfully chase down the given target, their start was hampered as they lost two wickets in quick successions. Aussie star Meg Lanning was the first batter to go back to the pavilion after she was cleaned up with a sensational delivery from Lauren Filer.
On the 14th ball of London Spirit chase, Filer bowled a fullish delivery to shatter the stumps of Lanning. The Aussie batter failed to read the ball completely as her foot moved nowhere and the ball breached her defense as the off stump went for a walk.
