Afy Fletcher shines with the ball

Opting to field first, West Indies restricted Pakistan to a modest 134 for 8 in their 20 overs. Sidra Amin top-scored for the home side with a knock of 48, while Muneeba Ali (25) and Ayesha Zafar (22) chipped in with valuable contributions. Afy Fletcher (3/17) and Qiana Joseph (2/26) were the pick of the West Indies bowlers.

Hayley Matthews takes Windies home

In reply, skipper Hayley Matthews once again proved to be the thorn in Pakistan’s side. The stylish captain struck a well-compiled 78 off 59 balls, including 11 fours, to lay the foundation for the chase. She found good support from Shemaine Campbelle (33* off 35 balls) as the pair stitched together a match-winning 103-run stand for the second wicket.
