However, the rest of the batting order struggled to maintain the required run rate, ultimately resulting in a victory for the Hobart Hurricanes.
Molly Strano bowled brilliantly for her the Women in Purple, taking 2 key wickets, while Nicola Carey and Amy Smith chipped in with crucial wickets to disrupt the Thunder’s chase.
