WATCH: Ellyse Perry hits a boundary to reach her maiden century in WBBL

Earlier, batting first Perth Scorchers set a target of 167 runs in their 20 overs. While chasing this, Sydney Sixers lost Alyssa Healy early in the second over of their inning. As wickets fell at the other end, Perry stood strong hitting shots all around the ground.

Hitting a boundary on the 4th ball of the 19th over, Perry completed her first WBBL hundred and took the team to victory.

Perry in her inning of 112 runs in 59 balls, hit 14 fours and 2 sixes (strike rate of 172.88). She was awarded ‘Player of the Match’ for her innings.
