Meet Marina Iqbal, Pakistan's first woman cricketer turned commentator
Former Pakistan cricketer Marina Iqbal is set to take on the commentary duties at the Champions One-Day Cup.
Marina, who has played 36 ODIs and 42 T20Is, is the first Pakistani women cricketer to become a commentator.
During the National Cup, she first went viral on the internet as she was spotted walking on the pitch in high heels.
Marina shut down the trolls at that moment by saying, "I am a former Pakistan player. I know the protocols."
She will share the commentary box with likes of Salman Butt and Sikandar Bakht in the Champions One Cup 2024-25.
Marina has over 64,000 followers on Instagram, where she frequently shares pictures of her fun activities.
In addition to playing cricket, her other hobbies include working out at the gym, singing and dancing.
