Top 10 highest Test scores in women’s cricket

Ellyse Perry’s masterful and unbeaten double century rewrote the history books as she notched up the highest score by an Australian women in Test cricket, compiling an unbeaten 213 against England in the only Test of the Women’s 2017 Ashes.

During Australia’s first innings of the inaugural day-night Test match, Perry went past 209, the previous highest score by a Southern Stars player, set by Karen Rolton against England in 2001.

However, the all-rounder missed to overtake India skipper Mithali Raj since the Aussie captain Rachael Haynes declared the innings at 448/9 in hope of a result. But the match ended in a draw as England posted 206 runs for a loss of 2 wickets in their second innings on the last day of the Test.

Highest Test Score:

The highest score by a women cricketer was recorded by Pakistan’s Kiran Baluch, who compiled 242 against the West Indies in 2004 at Karachi. She went past the previous best, 214, made by India’s Mithali Raj, against England on India’s tour of England in 2002.
